Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan is encouraging students in Wannon to research and apply for more than 7,000 higher education courses using the new website Course Seeker.

Mr Tehan said the Course Seeker website would allow prospective undergraduate students to compare and apply for courses that are right for them.

“This website provides students with transparent, independent and unbiased information,” Mr Tehan said.

“The Course Seeker website will give students in Wannon the information they need to compare and choose the course and institution that best suits their needs and goals, including student satisfaction rates and employment outcomes.

“I particularly encourage Wannon students finishing their Year 12 exams to hop on the website and look at the many options available to them.”

The Course Seeker website will make a real difference for prospective students from rural and regional communities who can’t attend university open days or visit the campus in person.

The Course Seeker website is at www.courseseeker.edu.au
