Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan MP, said the investment is part of the Community Sport Infrastructure Grant program, which was established by the Coalition Government, to provide funding for improvements at local sporting facilities.
Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan, said he was excited to see $1,000 from the Coalition Government’s Volunteer Grants Program being awarded to the Lake Bolac Golf Club to help alleviate travel costs for volunteers, and also $4,530 going to the Lake Bolac Foreshore Committee to purchase a multi-purpose printer.
Dan Tehan, Member for Wannon today announced over $241,000 of Capital Grants Funding for the Abbeyfield Hostel in Mortlake under the 2018-19 Aged Care Approvals Round (ACAR).
$1,000 from the Coalition Government’s Volunteer Grants Program being awarded to the Camperdown Botanic Gardens to purchase new garden tools, $4,395 going to the Camperdown-Timboon Rail Trail for improved storage facilities and a new computer, and $2,740 going to the Camperdown Little Athletics Centre to purchase athletic equipment.
Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan, is encouraging people across South-West Victoria to pause and reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who have served our nation on ANZAC Day 2019.
“Studying our natural environment and how our magnificent landscape was formed is so interesting, which is why I am happy to see the Volcanoes Discovery Centre in Penshurst receive funding”, said Mr Tehan.
Member for Wannon, Dan Tehan, said Portland Coastal Cliffs Incorporated would receive $5,000 to conduct workshops on a range of topics aimed at helping the community and the local environment.
